Rue's 4th and 5th grade Challenge Program students organized a school-wide month long food drive to benefit families at the Micah House. They made signs and had classroom competitions between primary and intermediate grade classrooms. Weekly classroom winners received traveling trophies.

Congratulations to Mrs. Woods' Kindergarten class for bringing the most food! Overall Rue students collected 800 lbs. of food. Thank you to Rhonda Leffler and her students for organizing this event to benefit the community.

Students Move into the Temporary Building

Students packed all their books and supplies and moved them into the temporary building at 2912 9th avenue.  This building will be home for the second semester while Rue is being remodeled. Students will return to a new Rue school in the fall of 2010.
