GREAT NEWS AT THE COUNCIL BLUFFS SCHOOLS

Buying Lunch Made Simpler

With DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS!

The school district is providing new ways for parents to pay for meals in the Cafeteria at your student’s school.  Parents may now pay with their DEBIT or CREDIT CARDS.   You can still send cash or checks with your student, but beginning this year, you will be able to pay for lunches online with your debit or credit card.

CBCSD has established a web site to accept payments over the Internet.  The school district has contracted with a company named REVTRAK to provide a secure site for making payments.  You may go to the school district’s website at www.cbcsd.org/nutrition/index.htm  and follow the link to the Online Meal Payment program.  You can also take the shortcut http://councilbluffs.revtrak.net on your browser address line.  The online meal payment program creates a shopping cart that is familiar to those who shop online.  If you do not shop online the steps are very easy to follow.  If you have students in other schools you will be able to pay for their lunches all in the same shopping cart with one transaction very soon.  Payments made by 9:30 A.M. will show up in your student’s lunch account that day.  Anything added after 9:30 A.M. will show up in the next day’s payments.

In order to use the plan, you must have your student’s six digit student ID number.  This number is different than their Lunch Account Number.  You can find your student’s six digit ID number in two different places.  If your student’s school provides a student ID card, the number is on the card.  The second place you can find the number is on your student’s grade report that you pick up at school or that is mailed to you by the school.  If you cannot locate the number at either of these locations, please call Cheryl at 328-6420 and she can provide it for you.

We hope that this will be a convenience for you and help save you time.    Please call the Nutrition Services Office (328-6420) with any questions or problems that occur during this initial period.
