Council Bluffs, Iowa 51503

 

The meeting began at 12:00 p.m. at Kirn Junior High School beginning with the Board eating school lunch with the students.  The Board then proceeded with their meeting with Larry DeChant, Principal of Kirn Junior High School, leading a discussion on their Building Improvement Plan and their Master Facilities Plan.

After the discussion the following Kirn Junior High students gave a presentation on the use of technology:  Alex Conyers, Lauren Webster, Nick McCoy and Kevin Wenninghoff.

The meeting ended at 1:20 p.m.

Board Members in attendance: Francis Clark, Ken Petersen, Mark Peterson, Cathy Ryba, Dave Strom and Marvin Arnpriester.

Also in attendance:  Diane Ostrowski, Supervisor of Community Services; Neal Evans, Supervisor of Facilities, Maintenance and Custodial Services; Larry DeChant, Principal of Kirn Junior High School; Mike Johnson, Assistant Principal of Kirn Junior High School and Janine Headen.
